A meeting
will be held with a heritage group in Dedridge on 18 March
at the Lanthorne.
13th
October 2009:
The first
stages of discussion for a project based in Dedridge which
will explore the shale heritage of both the Dedridge area
but also to explore the history of Oakbank and the many people
who used to live in that once vibrant shale village.
As yet
there is no group based at Dedridge or Oakbank but initial
discussions at the Community Council meeting were extremely
positive and there is a sense of great energy within the council. |
