Threemiletown & Ecclesmachan

A public talk will take place at the community centre on 7 April 2010.


West Calder

It is hoped that a heritage group will be established within the next few weeks in West Calder and will be based at the West Calder Library.


Scottish Association of Family History Conference

The Shale Villages project officer will be giving a talk at the conference on Saturday 17 April 2010 at 11 am. The conference and the Family History exhibition is organised and run by the West Lothian Family History Society, at the Howden Park Arts Centre, Livingston.


Tarbrax

The Shale Villages project is at the early stages of working with the Tarbrax Common Association and will be assisting in a local community heritage-based project to ensure the shale history of Tarbrax is retained, enjoyed and shared by the entire community.
