planning your visit

Come rain or shine, there's something for everyone at Almond Valley. We're open throughout the year and with many attractions under cover, there's plenty to see and do whatever the weather

There's so much for all the family will enjoy, and our play areas hold special appeal to those under ten years old. We'd recommend that you allow at least four hours for your visit

We're open daily 10am to 5pm throughout the year, except 25/26 December and 1/2 January. Trailer rides operate at weekend throughout the year and daily during holiday periods, train rides operate at weekends between Easter and Septemeber and during summer holiday periods. Please check the events page for latest details

All buildings, other than one small area of the Mill, are accessible to those with impaired mobility. All main paths around the site are surfaced and suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.

There are ample picnic benches around the site, and covered (but unheated) picnic accommodation is available at most times. We're afraid that picnics are definitely not welcome in the tearoom...and there is no public access to the tearoom unless you are visiting Almond Valley.

Well-behaved dogs are admitted providing they are kept on a lead at all times and away from the more nervous of our livestock.
