Embark on a journey of discovery at Almond Valley
In consultation with school children and leaders, we’ve created an innovative and engaging heritage education programme aligned to the Curriculum for Excellence and responding to Learning for Sustainability.
These are not just standard history lessons; these are immersive experiences that invites students and teachers alike to embark on a journey of discovery, exploring the past, and shaping the future of our planet.

About our learning visits
Working with school leaders and young learners we have co created an, innovative and engaging heritage education programme. This is not just another history lesson; it’s an immersive experience that invites students and teachers alike to discover the past, celebrate community life, and explore the future of our planet.
Through three core themes, students will explore the rich tapestry of our shared heritage and develop critical skills that will shape their future:
Innovation
Uncover the ground breaking ideas that shaped the world we live in today. From early inventions to modern breakthroughs, students will dive into the minds of pioneers who changed history.
Community Life
Experience the everyday life of those who came before us. Through interactive activities and storytelling, students will see how communities lived, worked, and thrived, building connections to their own lives.
The Planet
Become a conservationist for the day! Engage with topics on sustainability, environmental stewardship, and the role we all play in preserving our planet for future generations.
