We know all too well the importance of good quality, thoughtful food, and we aim to offer a broad selection of homemade hot and cold food, and a broad choice of refreshments in our Café and Shephard’s Hut.
Café
You can find the café at Almond Valley situated near entrance area. Whether you’re after a breakfast roll, cuppa and slice of homemade cake or a hearty lunch to fuel you for the remainder of the day, we have something to tantalise your tastebuds.
Hot and cold food and refreshments are served daily, with range of homemade seasonal specials to cater to all tastes and appetites.
Shepherd’s Hut
You can find the Shepherd’s Hut situated in Charlesfield in the Orchard Barn. Ideally positioned to allow easy access to a range of over the counter hot/cold snacks and refreshments and ice cream.

Picnic Until Your Heart’s Content
Throughout the site, we have established several indoor and outdoor seating areas to allow visitors an opportunity to bring their own tasty treats on site and/ or to allow people to takeaway food from the café to enjoy outdoors.
Locally Sourced and Home Grown
We use local, fresh and seasonal products, and grow an abundance of fruit and vegetables, here on site at Almond Valley. We’ve also introduced edible streets across the site and an edible garden, to allow our visitors to explore and engage with the joys of ‘growing your own’.
Allergy & Dietary Requirements
We aim to accommodate all allergy and dietary requirements where possible. Should you have any special requirements please inform our catering assistants and we will do our very best to accommodate your needs.
Baby Feeding Facilities
We’re part of the Breastfeeding Friendly Scotland scheme here at Almond Valley.
You’ll find a microwave in the café conservatory to heat up baby food for your little ones or if you prefer, we can supply hot water for bottles. We have plenty of highchairs available in the café and outdoor eating area to make feeding time a little easier and more relaxing.
