The Legend of the Peel - 1st July - 15th August
Schools Out, it's time to kick back and enjoy the fun of the summer.
This Summer sees the opening of our new play area, The Ruined Peel, an amazing three-storey play area that evokes the mystery and adventure of exploring a tumbledown Scottish tower house. Along a network of shadowy passageways and mysterious chambers you can wind your way up to the high battlements from where you return to the earth down slides or across rope bridges. If you’re an action hero you can climb, clamber and balance, but there’s much more to engage your senses, imagination, and emotions during your journey of discovery. Different routes through the structure suit different temperaments and abilities, including a fully accessible route through the lower parts of the peel tower. Everyone can contribute in their own way towards the fun and collaboration of play.
On top of that, Almond Valley will be full to bursting with fun things to do. Everyday we'll have train and tractor rides, alpaca feeding sessions, small animal encounters and you'll get to meet our Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys. Test your building skills and create the best den and test your mind with your medieval inspired quiz, a gold medal is awaiting the champion. Challenge your skills with our sideshow games and get creative with some arts and crafts activities. And do much more!!

Take a trip on our vintage tractor, relax and sit back as the world chugs and shoggles slowly by. A short simple circuit of the outlaying fields to see the animals and take in the views.

A trip on our narrow-guage railway. Barclay, our old diesel spent its working like in an explosives factory, he hauls a train of little carriages that we converted from old wagons.

Our cuddley alpacas love nothing more than getting an afternoon treat. Come feed our loveable herd at the arena.
